A Country Poem

By: Ashley Telford

As I say good night to Old Big John,

“ Good Night.”

And to Dear Little John,

“Good Night as well.”

I remember Freckles,

“Good Night, forever, my dear.”

I will be by your side when you need me,

I will be by your side when you are alone,

I will be by your side when you are gone,

I will be by your  side forever.

What I’ve been up to!!!

Emma and I got out of school on May 25th. Our school had 4 slides in the school’s front yard.  My class had a huge water fight; it was awesome!

The next BIG event was Dad’s birthday. He turned 34 on June 2nd. The next day my family helped some uncles sort and load cows to take to Arco.  After mom and dad went out on a date; so we got babysat by Jenifer Godin.

Today I drew this picture… 103_0569[1]

Spring Break is here!

This week is Spring Break!  My Mom, Sister, and I made an agenda (that’s a fancy word for list according to Fancy Nancy) and menu. We have this week all planed out! My Mom hopes that we don’t have to put a big black x through it and write “Baby Brother Born”. Some of the “activities” on our agenda are: Go to the bead shop, Go to Jace Ward’s party at McDoanald’s, and go to the park. MAR 2011 00102

Last night we saw elk in our pasture beside our house! One buck still did not shed it’s antlers!
